Freshman Howard Advances in Cross Country

 Freshman Dalton Howard placed fifth at the high school district cross country meet last week. The meet was held in Spur and Howard led the Paducah team in finishes and his fifth place finish was good enough to send him to the regional meet on Monday. The runners covered three miles and senior Kenneth Neskorik placed 14th while sophomore Jordan Mackey came in right behind him in 15th.   Later int he day, the junior high ran the two mile course with seventh grader Christopher Martinez placing 16th, seventh grader Tate Hutchinson placing 26th and eighth grader Aiden Grant finishing in 35th. The team placed third overall.

     Coach Ross Johnson said, "“ It went good. The kids ran and were competitive and they are setting a foundation for next year.”
