Application For Professional Employment

           Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/University and a Texas Teaching Certificate

           Deadline: Until filled

• FCS (Family and Consumer Science Teacher) and FCCLA Advisor

Responsibilities

•As a certified teacher, you will be responsible for teaching various levels of students using effective instructional methods

•Teach Family/Consumer Sciences courses to students of varying learning levels

•Develop and implement lesson plans using a variety of instructional methods

•Sponsor the FCCLA program, including organizing competitions and events

•Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum

•Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices

Other

• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations related to the occupational area assigned.

• Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures. 

Qualifications:

• Possess Texas teaching certification

• Possess a Bachelor's degree (preferably in Family/Consumer Sciences or related field)

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work with students of varying learning levels
