In the district's continuing effort to promote continuing education,  Paducah junior and seniors visited Texas Tech University in Lubbock and South Plains College in Levelland for a tour of each campus. Departing early the group first toured SPC touring the science buildings, one of the dormitories, the sports stadiums, recreational facilities, and the English building. 

     Afterwards, the students enjoyed a pizza or calzone from One Guy's.  After the lunch break, the group was off to tour the Texas Tech campus. The students split into two different groups, and toured several educational buildings, the library, a dormitory, and the recreational center.

     "The students really seemed to enjoy it and hopefully they will consider one of these colleges to continue their education after high school," Counselor Leslie Hutchinson said.
