Paducah's FFA Chapter Conducting team placed second at Saturday's district contest and will advance to area competition next week. The FFA members traveled to Valley for the district Career Development Event contest.  Paducah had several teams competing .  The senior radio team of juniors Hayden Palacios, Kameron Todd, and Logan Taylor placed 11th.  The senior quiz team placed 12th as a team with Ali Smith placing 22nd, Jackson Hicks placing 34th, Hailey Wright placing 43rd and Kristyn Deaton placed 54th. 

    Chapter Conducting will compete on Saturday at West Texas A&M in Canyon. Team members are seniors Leslie Mayo andKenneth Neskorik; junior Madison Beck, sophomore Jacolby Burns, freshmen Lexi Lecroy, Haley Hutchinson and Caylin Flemons; and eighth graders Olivia Ramos, Hunter Gilbert and Addyson Bowles. 

     “I am extremely proud of all of my FFA teams and extremely proud that we qualified our senior chapter conducting team for area,” ag teacher Justin Nash said.
