The elementary Student of the Month for October is first grader Madi Adams. Madi is the 6 year old daughter of Jeff and Carey Adams. 

     When she grows up, Madi wants to be a doctor and says that her favorite thing to eat is an apple.  When not in school, Madi loves to be active playing flag football, Little Dribblers and baseball. She also like to spend time at the lake skiing and tubing.

     Nominating teacher, Mandy Moore said, "Madi is a very hard working student who is ready and willing to learn and help others in our class! She is a superstar student!

  The CapRock Telephone Student of the Month for October is freshman Tanner Hooten. Tanner is the 14-year-old son of Dean and Donna Hooten.  

     Tanner was nominated by math teacher Nicole Thompson who said, "He is new to the district, but has settled in and done a great job.  He is polite and takes his school work seriously.  He is a pleasure to have in class."

     After high school Tanner hopes to attend college and pursue a career as a physicist.  When not busy with school, Tanner enjoys reading and says that Mrs. Parks is his favorite teacher.
