The CapRock Telephone Cooperative Student of the Month for January is Joshua Gonzalez. Joshua is the son of Sonia and Chris Gonzales. He is 10 years old and a 5th grader at Goodwin Elementary.  When he grows up, Joshua wants to play football for the Seattle Seahawks. In his spare time he loves to play basketball and says that his favorite food is lasagna. Joshua's favorite teacher in school is Mrs. Smith. 

     "Joshua is working very hard, and has drastically improved during the course of first semester. I can't wait to see what great things he is going to do this semester!" said nominating teacher Laetitia Johnson.

     The CapRock Junior High Student of the Month is 7th grader Mark Flemons.  Mark is the 13-year-old son of Mark Flemons.  Mark's favorite school subject is math, but his real passion is basketball. When he grows up he wants to be a basketball player and spends all of his spare time practicing his skills. In school, Mark's activities include football, track and, you guessed it, basketball. 

     Mark was nominated by both his English teacher Sandra Tribble and his coach and math teacher Ross Johnson.

     Mrs. Tribble said, "Mark is a hard worker who is dedicated to doing his best. He is eager to learn and always willing to go the extra mile to make himself better."

     Way to go, Mark!
