Last Tuesday the Lady Dragons took on the Patton Springs Lady Rangers. In the first quarter the Lady Dragons came out hot on a 13-2 run. Throughout the game, the ladies put on a defensive clinic with 21 total steals and a whopping 42 rebounds.
After a hot first quarter the Lady Dragons kept rolling on defense, holding the Lady Rangers to just four points. The Lady Dragons held all the momentum going into the half. With a 27-6 lead at the half, the Lady Dragons were rolling.
After the halftime break, the ladies came out on fire dropping 16 points. The Lady Rangers found a smidge of momentum toward the end of the quarter scoring six points. The Lady Dragons showed good team effort by posting 13 assists during the third quarter.
Going into the fourth quarter the Lady Rangers found some hype, but it still wasn’t enough to come back. Finishing off the game 51-21, the Lady Dragons improve to 4-1 in district play.
