Last week, Texas A&M Agrilife Extension and Paducah ISD sponsored the annual health fair and mammogram clinic at the practice gym. More than 16 different informational booths were set up in the gym, offering free information, and other services like a free blood sugar test. The Covenant Mobile Mammography truck was on hand and it was reported that several mammograms were performed. More than 122 attended the fair.
“It is always beneficial, and it has some interesting information,” science teacher Alicia Nash commented.
Vender booths included Texas A&M Agrilife Extension, Better Living for Texas Program, CapRock Telephone, The Pregnancy Outreach Center, AirEvac, WIC, Baucum Dentistry, Accolade Home Health, Childress Home Health, Paducah Area Food Pantry, TexDOT, National Weather Service, Department of Health, Nortex, Department of Aging and Rolling Plains Management Cooperation.
