Posted Date: 02/02/2016

The Lady Lizards went to Guthrie last week seeking revenge against the Lady Jags after losing at home during their last meeting. The first quarter was a defensive battle back and forth and the Lizards managed to hold the Jags to a scoreless first quarter while eighth grader Addyson Bowles sank a three to put the first points on the board.

The low scoring affair went on through half time with neither team breaking double digits. However, the ladies did go in to the break in the lead 9-5.

In the second half the Lady Jags made things a little more interesting, clawing their way in to a tie game, 14-14, by the end of the third. Coming out of the huddle to start the fourth the ladies the ladies plowed their way to a win.  Eight grader Olivia Ramos caught fire and score seven of her nine points in the fourth quarter to put the ladies ahead and win the game 24-20.
