Last Monday the Lizard track team competed in their second meet of the season at the Junior High Rolling Plains Relays in Jayton. Both the girls team and boys team represented well and the boys accumulated 122 points, enough to win the team portion of the meet. Placing results are as follows:

400 m dash: Jonathon Henderson, second place, 1:00.21; Isaiah Maldonado, third place, 1:00.87.   

800 m run: Chase Branson, fifth place,  2:37.58.

2400 m run: Chris Martinez, third place, 10:06.66;  Steven Howard, fifth place,  10.13.49.

110 m Hurdles:  Tate Hutchinson, second place, 20.40;  Isaiah Patterson, third place,  20.62;  Caleb Adair, fourth place, 20.65. 

300 m hurdles:  Isaiah Patterson, second place, 53.40.

4x100 m relay: Brendon Maldonado, Chris Martinez, Kayden Mackey, Tate Hutchinson, third place,  55.15.

4x200 m relay: Isaiah Maldonado, Jalen McCorkle, Jonathon Henderson, Keyvondra Richardson, first place, 1:49.32.

4x400 m relay:  Casey Votaw, Chase Branson, Isaiah Maldonado, Jonathon Henderson, first place, 4:22.78.

Long Jump: Jonathon Henderson, third place, 15”8.

Shot Put: Antwan Maldonado, fifth place 

High Jump: Jalen McCorkle, first place, 5’0; Isaiah Patterson, fifth place,  4’10.
