The senior Horse Quiz Bowl team of freshmen Lexi Lecroy, Caylin Flemons and Colby Harrison placed second at district competition in Vernon last week and will compete at the State Round-Up at Texas A&M in June. 

     Sponsors Tammy Harrison, Betty Carr, Beth Whitener and County Extension Agent Luke Feaster accompanied 17 Paducah students to the district competition last week.

     The junior/intermediate team of 8th graders Addyson Bowles, Olivia Ramos and Hunter Gilbert won first in their age division. 

     Other teams competing were seniors Kenneth Neskorik, Hailey Wright and Kristyn Deaton. Four graders Kennedy Whitaker, Destiny Mercado, Gunnar Bowles and Kallea Matney competed in the junior/intermediate division. Seventh graders Jack Parks, Tate Hutchinson, Harleigh Detwiler and Dylan Adams also competed.      

     “I have awesome 4-Her’s and leaders. We could not do it without my leaders or my 4-Her’s,” CEA-FCS agent Beth Whitener said.
