Garibaldi Advances Out Of Regional To State Track Meet

    The Paducah High School track program had another great outing at the regional track meet in Levelland at the South Plains College track. Sophomore Jacolby Burns placed fifth in shot put. The girl’s 800-meter relay team of freshmen Haley Hutchinson and Kyanna Hurd, and juniors Bailey Lambert and Faith Walker advanced to the finals and placed sixth.   

     But the star of the meet was junior Joseph Garibaldi who placed fifth in long jump and took home the gold medal placing first in the 110 meter hurdles.

     Garibaldi  was the only one who advanced to the state meet and took on the competition last Saturday. After a rain delay,  Garibaldi finally took to the track to finish a very respectable fifth.
