Last Thursday enthusiastic fans gathered at the north court house lawn for the downtown pep rally. A large crowd of fans came out to support the  Dragons' for the first game of the 2015 season. The downtown pep rally has been a Paducah tradition for more than 40 years, and in 2015 that tradition is still going strong. As the Dragon football players entered, the band kicked off the pep rally with the fight song. The cheerleaders were hyped up as they cheered and awarded spirit sticks to the most spirited fans. Coach Billy Hutchinson addressed the crowd and Coach Ross Johnson fired up the team with shouts of, "Who Are We? Paducah Dragons!"  

  “I love the downtown pep rally because it’s tradition and I love traditions,” said PHS teacher Sally Stice.
