Richardson Leads Lizards To Spur Shut Out

     Early in the first quarter of the eight grade game, Kevondra Richardson scored on a run play. While the Bull Pups' defense held the Lizards to one touchdown in the first, their offense couldn't match the Lizard defense and by the end of the first quarter, the Lizards had the lead 6-0.  
     In the second quarter, the Lizards' defense held Spur and the Bull Pups turned the ball over on downs. On the last play of the second quarter Richardson again scored to put the Lizards up 12-0 over the Pups at the half.
     The Lizards struggled early in the third quarter with a fumble, but  turned things around when they recovered a  Bull Pup fumble. The Lizards capitalized off of the turnover and Richardson notched another TD.
     As the fourth quarter got underway the Paducah held a solid 19-0 lead. Another turnover on downs by the Bull Pups resulted in another score by Richardson. Before the game was over, Stephen Howard added a touchdown of his own late in the quarter to ice the Lizard victory, shutting out the Bull Pups 33-0.
